Anyone used / using these?. Thought they might be good as a point to shorten the 200t to or temp clip for rigging slings etc.

they are good for clipping high if you prize off the gate if not i would be very carefull having it close to your side Ds in case you accidently clip the wrong one like some one i know i use one round the back for slings and its spot on for moi

who was it that clipped into it bob? they must be bloody stupid i bet they were trying to pollard a lleylandi aswell. you do have to work with some muppets.

Get the bigger version. rated to 15kg and doesnt seem to grab onto little branches as much. and on a side note, if you did clip into it by accident its a bit stronger

Yeh, how bloody thick can you be to do such a basic mistake. Hope they are not in charge of anyone showing them bad habits like that. :drunk:

 

They should have to retake their climbing tickets IMO :wave:

Hey don't make too much fun of the guy. It was a mistake which he caught and then posted his experience on the Buzz.

 

**** happens and this is a good reminder of that.

Dont worry Frans, he knows we won't let him forget :icon14: Just a shame we didn't have it on video.

 

That's why us lot round here are very careful not to make mistakes, because we will never here the last of it.

I know someone who let a tree attack him when he was felling it. He wouldn't let me sign the pot on his arm :proud:

 

Good thing about being ripped about it is, you won't make the same mistake twice, your life would be hell

I have had a couple break on me...they arnt really strong enuff 4 saws IMO...
