Substandard Silky Sugoi Scabbard Solution?

Got fed up with the standard silky sugoi scabbard, broken 2 in exactly the same place, so I'v invested in this funky Weaver alternative. I'll let you know how I get on with it.

I knew I should have bought 2, and had them crossed over my back! Mind you, I'd probably amputate an ear or something!

 

Its going on the harness. Cant get on with strapping it to my leg, its just too big!

Nice, looks like one of those (much better looking) silky's from the states. All it needs is a walnut handle.

I may well commission one. Possibly mahogony rather than walnut though.

As far as I know there are some new saws coming to the market with leather scabbards some time in the near future. As soon as I hear any more I'll let you guys know.
