martin, if you can wait untill around the apf time you can borrow both from me. imo 660 wins every time husky doesnt compare. 30inch bar is great, i can use it all day long as can the saw, 25 is amazing. and 18 is when you want real fun!

If as you said earlier in the post it won't be massivley used why not buy 2nd hand? . Anyway as i was saying i paid £400 for a 088 (only 3 years old) 2nd hand with 2 36"bars 1 full chizel chain and 1 ripping chain. Fortunatly i knew all the history of it and pretty much how many times it had been used over 3 years. That way you've got a big saw that if need be you can put a 30" to a 3 1/2 ft bar on it, rather than buying a new saw when you get big trees. Just what i've learnt (hence why i own a 395 and a 088).

 

I own a 395xp with a 30" bar and she runs as good as any 066 ive used so i think either is good just personal preference.
