hi everyone/anyone?!

 

i currently work as a foreman-climber with responsibility for day to day running of a gang of six arborists.

 

anyone have an opnion on what the going rate monetary wise should be.

 

especially interested to know if anyone else has a similar role:001_smile:

you generaly find if your worth the money, you get the money, if your average youll get average money, ask and youll soon find out what your "going rate" is!

 

I would want 35k a year to manage a crew of six if it also entailed being responsible for thier H&S all the employee associated paperwork and complications, keeping a calendar of guys holidays booked in to match with the works diary more important if your not the one booking in jobs and pricing etc.

It's not.

 

But then again within the arb industry it is alot of money. It's sad but true.

 

Yup, got to agree with that, 30k plus is great money for an employee in Arb

IMO Probably around 20k.

 

doesnt sound a lot - but more than a similar role in retail (ok - not quite got the dirty and dangerous factor)

 

but thats also assuming that you are the foreman and responsible for onsite duty nothing else
