I havent, I nearly had one, but conscience dictated that I give it back to its rightful owner, even though he didnt really deserve it!

I dont know what I would use it for, but I want one anyway.

I do know someone that has it set up on a swing out gallows arm on the back of his truck, on the end of an block and tackle system for loading heavy items. A sort of poor man's hiab!

Used to have one on harness all the time, used with a 11mm static rope used it for light lowering, pulling back branches from lines, pulling up big saws would use it on other end of climbing line as hitch to get into spots to far for flipline where no handy re direct. Used endless dynema sling when using it as pulley to place on tree limbs.

I use mine as the manufacturer intended which is a one way hauling cam to get stuff into the tree.

I have tried it other ways but was not happy with it.

Using it as the final lock off on a 5:1 pulley system just might be a very good use of it.

Harken makes fiddle block systems which use cleats to lock off the rope. The cleats are real easy to unload under load.

Used it today as the final pulley in the 5:1 system to pull a huge Ash stem back the way I wanted it to go, worked excellent!!
