av just seen on the news, planes still grounded for another 24hours:thumbdown: on the plus side its nice and quiet in my house with the eldest not here:lol:

Mrs Chilli flew to Portugal Wed' with just an overnight bag. Was due home today (Fri').

Earliest possible flight to England now forecast for next Wed'! Hoping now to get a flight to Barcelona tomorrow & hire a car to drive to a colleagues villa in France. Then see if they can get any nearer to home but with all trains, Eurostar, ferries full, it doesn't look good. Gonna have to go shopping for some clean smalls!

well the update is that she's now back in bangkok and the airline company jet airways is no longer paying for accomadation, apparently the rep wasnt english speaking...wot a suprise. more annoyingly the news keeps mentioning these poor tv stars that cant get out of the country and only covering the poor people that cant get out of england, wot the **** man...how about the poor english folk that are stuck in a foreign country trying to get home with no help from the airline companies and im sure the insurance companies will try and wriggle out of this one, were having to bank transfer funds to pay for her food and accomadation......not happy
