loler inspector was grilling us about it at treelife, however if site specific ra highlights increased risk as result of continual anchoring in 2 systems then its permissable,

its a right nitemare to climb, and my additional comments box will be getting filled every time the harness goes on, wink wink

When i get to a high enough position im going to sort all this rubbish out!

not for my sake but for all the young guns coming into it, how are you supposed to work with three kits on!

in comps you get marked down heavily if you are roped in at any time by 1 system

Say what?

Ever been to a comp?

Has your instructor ever been to a comp?

two anchor rope lines and lanyard for when you re-adjust a main system that way connected two systems all times, do-able and he reckons always climbs that way it was just relly awkward,he said system example works best in broad open tree, ill get him to find the exact paragraphs that enabled him to that interpretation, pm you tomorrow,

but whats the point in doing JUST a verbal and a tick box when a normal SSRA takes no more time and covers ones rear in any event? if your going to go to the trouble of telling the RA why not write it!:confused1:

If the job sheet was part of the risk assessment it would be just as easy for everyone to undertake and sign?

Yeah i agree with both of you, I was just pointing out a flaw in the system and giving a quick example.....It takes a very short time to do a RA for a small job.:001_smile:
