Hi guys. I am posting on behalf of Rowan the Bruce, as he is having computer problems. The question is does anyone have or know where can be obtained, a four foot long, approx 3/4" diameter auger bit. He needs to drill through a large split in a mature tulip tree which he has already cobra braced, in order to brace the split together with a rod. He is having probs finding a supplier. Any ideas?:001_smile:

what about a zip bit and a zip bit extension and if all else fails extend the extension very simply

i used one to drill noggings in a stud wall from the loft down 6 ft to bathroom to connect central heating

Otherwise we would have had to knock all the tiles and plaster off:confused1:

I could post mine but would need it back and postage would be more than sorting one out
