I'm trying to understand what Easter actualy means these days.

Bit of a hollow marking of a pretty significant piece of world history.

Whether you subscribe to the reality or the myth, it's a great shame that like most, my household is confronted with a mountain of chocolate and a smidgin of guilt that the kids didn't get to mass.

What ever it does mean, hope you all have a nice day either way :001_smile:

no guilt here Dave, it just another reason to have fun to us, and we probably wouldnt head out on a egg rolling adventure otherwise, and its good for us al to do it together, its easy to split up and do diferent stuff on a day off, shopping, kids events etc and we are off to a family getogether this afternoon for food and drink(i am pilot as usual) lol

We are having a day of food today (the boys decision). Had bacon and eggs on fried bread cooked by the boy himself this morning.:001_smile:

Then we have Scottish Mick and his better half over for roast lamb and all the trimming, with plenty of wine.:drunk:

The wife is putting her feet up today and me and the boy are in charge of the kitchen.

Easter means nothing to me, no chocolate, no church or anything. Just another sunday to me, and well dont get me started on bank holidays :sneaky2::laugh1:

None the less, i suspect this will all change when i have a family of my own. Happy easter guys.
