Full Chisel?

Was working with a friend today, his saws had a full chisel/softwood chain and i noticed that they cut better than my semi chisel chains. However we were cutting up a big sycamore, and hit some wire when felling the bole, the full chisel was seriously dammaged so i tried with my semi chisel a bit lower down but hit wire as well, the difference was the dammage was minimal compared with the full chisel. I only use the semi because thats what my dealer sells, should I change?

What do you guys use?

Thanks for the replies,I thought I'd get a mixed response. I think i'll get a few Full Chisels as well as my Semis for when i'm cutting clean stuff.

the semi chisel is a good allround cutter. if you have got plenty of power go for the full chisel. if your running a long bar go for a semi.
