The ropeguides an awesome piece of kit!!!

 

Although ive now started making my own which is also awesome:001_tongue:

Liked the look of the treeimagineers multisaver so made one of them too!!! Not tried it yet though.

yep i got one and the art one

no comparison but the treemagineers is better than a normal saver imo

wish i had bought the longest and only criticism is too much sheath movement or the core is too thin

try putting your coocoun on ur splice and then take off ur prussik, then tie a alpine butterfly when and what ever length u need each time. works way way better less stuff needed. retevies easier too.

i think they actually make your job safer, and obviously easier. especially dead trees where you don't really want to put your rope through a fork. and especially when working on stems. even if you have your rope below your side strop and you cut your side strop you still might fall to the ground. i've had two friends who've fallen off stems in the last year one broke his back(walking fine again now) the other just got grazed horribly. both because they just came down off too small a stub around the trunk
