Yeah the bit about coppers being the only ones to legally stop traffic is true IIRC.

 

We just usually wait for gaps in traffic then stop any cars if we have to.

 

If I used lights on every job where we drop stuff out into the road I'd win none of them tbh.

Dont get me wrong, on the right job, Ill do it all properly but jobs that "need" traffic lights are very few and far between, I Always put signs/cones out if road side but to stop the traffic we just stand in the road :biggrin:

 

exactly! most of the time it's for the council doing street trees and they don't care, as long as we have tree work signs, road narrow signs and cones :biggrin:

have you got them community ranger busybodies driving round looking for somebody to pick on? counting cones etc..grrr! oh if you use rodgers plant hire in huddersfield for your tm it might look as crappy as this.. check out the cones:thumbup:

yeh but left 1/2 tonne of sawdust just to annoy you Bob.. bet you notice it everytime now haha

 

they mooved most of it

tbh got used to averting my eyes

so why was it 6 months later or did it just seem that long:confused1:
