hiya guys im thinking about organising a recreational tree climbing weekend down here in cornwall but before a set about getting a venue for climbing and camping i thought i would find out if anyone would be interested , idealy it would be based over a bankholliday weekend . so if anyone is interested or if anyone locally would be up for getting envolved in organising it feel free to let me know :thumbup:

Isnt there a MASSIVE pine tree, Somewhere down that way?? Ive heard a rumour, Or has it been felled, I cant remember, nor did i see any proof :confused1::001_tt2::001_tt2:

this is true , i was thinking of somewhere like lanhydroc estatr , they have some monster trees in there :thumbup:

 

We should get our heads together Dave- I can climb what i like at Pencarrow.....and i might be able to pul some strings with the NT for Lanhydrock, although i think they will probably veto it instantly....One thing is for certain...we WONT be able to climb the tree in my avatar sadly...(prob/poss the tallest tree in cornwall)
