Cheers mate!! It really is so satisfying being able to splice. I would highly recommemed it........bloody addictive though!!

Is there any advantage to using rings instead of a large spliced eye "a la the Primus". Just easier to retrieve?

This is one thing for which a short video would be nice, to see a few basic steps of what's involved.

I was going to use a large splice like the primus,but the problem is you need to insert something into the splice to keep it open. Other wise retreival would be nightmare!! haha.

Ive been using it all this week and im very impressed with it:biggrin:. Not bad for my irst ropeguide anyway!!!
