:lol::lol: You know me and my splices!!!!.....thats just how many id managed to get done this morning,done another 5 this evening!.................god i need to get out more!!! haha

 

what are they all for

or were they practice splices

Is there any advantage to using rings instead of a large spliced eye "a la the Primus". Just easier to retrieve?

 

I was going to use a large splice like the primus,but the problem is you need to insert something into the splice to keep it open. Other wise retreival would be nightmare!! haha.

Ive been using it all this week and im very impressed with it:biggrin:. Not bad for my irst ropeguide anyway!!!

 

 

Hey mdvaden Brion toss has some videos on you tube and im sure Ropey on here has a link to some splicing vids.
