One thing I will have to get used to is the tendency for the trailing end of my lines catching behind the saw handle, however this is just me being tad pedantic.

I have done two climbing rope in like this. The trailing end, catches the handle, lifts outta the sheath and rubs against the rather costly, spliced 40m of elderid timber blue. For this reason I have stopped using the sawpod and gone back to the conventional sheath clipped to my harness.

I have now got myslef a new silky scabbard, so maybe the saw will not come out as easily.

i have to echo that point about the **** plastic rectangles. they are no good, they always flick to the side and im sure they will be the first thing to break. apart from that they are the business. i did lose my silk from lifting my leg up high today, but i dont think you can solve that without attaching the handle to the scabbard or the saw pod but then that will take away from the ease of use. im thinking of spraying my silky handle flourescent pink not because im a homo but its the only colour which will stand out.

Already done the pink paint! Works brilliant...groundie found my zubat in seconds in a big pile of brash.

Thinking of painting rest of my gear.... lol:scared1:
