Hamas big reduction/pruning thread!

I wasnt to happy about getting up this one yesterday morning, it was blowing a flippin hoolie with gusts i reckon well into the 40MPH! still made me pull my finger out! and 2hrs30 minutes later was feeling pretty pleased with myself, apart from ripping my best work jumper! lol

Have you got any close ups of the cuts you make. I where possible try to prune to weeping branches for a natural effect I know you cant do this with every type of tree i like the way you change your method for each tree.On the eucalyptus the collar swells a lot and i normally prune in front of this copying shaded out branches bellow do you follow this method where it occurs. Ps big fan of your work tony:thumbup1:

Pruning to weeping branches is fine in the lower half of the canopy but you need to consider each branch as an individual and within its natural place in the crown architecture. the highest cuts are different to the mid cuts and the lowest cuts.
