got to be the Biggest reduce i have seen been done,Nice knowing it will live on for many years with the comfort it hurricane proof was a worry with all that weight in the top and the decay at base.

 

few trees are truly bomb proof Ben as you know, but it will take a lot to down this old girl for sure now. Like I said we can keep an eye on the decay and hopefully one day when im about 50-60 we can pollard her down to about half her hieght if she looks like she needs it.

 

the gano is a sure sign of old age and the need to grow down but only as and when the residual wood becomes in sufficient to hold it all up. She is in safe hands and will be there long after you and me depart this earth:thumbup1:
