First Primrose that we have seen this week out in full:001_smile:

This is my sign that spring has sprung.

I know they can be a bit earlyer than this but for me the sooner the better.

What smacks of spring for any of you lot? Bud burst of trees? Mate calls of owl? Dance of red kite? or the sun rise & fall times?.....

it's when my hands thaw out and my nose stops running!

 

Stick your hands down south as far as you can each & every day, this way it must feel like spring any time up this way;) Not to sure on nose plugs though mate:biggrin:

For me, its when our rookery sparks into life again. I love the activity, and especially the noise - such gregarious birds.

A few crocuses have started popping up and the snowdrops...

 

Generally speaking though the weathers been warmer in the day so a good sign of spring :D
