Ok. So you chaps obviously have not tried to feed a Camon from 2001! I have never used a petrol machine so I stand corrected.

A lot of tree companies love their toys, but it is all about budget and common sense. Big overheads are a killer to small companies.

I hire chippers as I don't want the investment at the moment, I hire a petrol 5" timberwolf most of the time, its simple does what it says on the tin and is reliable.

 

What bugs me and this happend only last week is when people unfairly slag chippers off we have a 10" jensen at work tracked and a 6" Tinnywolf Tracked some noggin was banging on that the wolf easn't as good as the jensen!:cussing::cussing: Its never likely to be when its half the flippin size!:cussing:

i demoed one and was very impressed it was a very well thought out chipper for the money but wasnt what we wanted so we had to spend more and more
