You are still a fat cnut. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You keep away from me and I'll keep away from you.

Les dear boy, it will be signed off (electrical wise), then, and only then will he get his dollar. I'm fairly sure that with years of experience the job is sound.

And for the opposition, what's the guarantee that when the bloke takes the time to come over he doesn't find that eggs has gone to the pub, changed his mind, got someone else in quicker etc and not said anything? People will muck you about like that.

Fewer and fewer people are willing to do trade work. Tradesmen are in demand and in strong negotiating positions.

In my ( usually ) night time occupation, as a Mobile DJ, because of events along the lines of those described above, it's becoming the norm among Professional DJ's to issue a contract stating that full payment will be made possibly a fortnight before the event, or they're not loading up the van to even set off.

Every time someone posts on Facebook/Forums that they've been stiffed for their previously agreed wages, these folk point out that such terms and conditions preclude this possibility.

Some things are paid for in advance, others not.

I once drove to Birmingham and the guy didn't show. His client wasn't too impressed either.

It mainly meant I had an extra day at the APF but I'm still going to kill him one day. Changed terms immediately.
