We are due a Sherpa 100 Small and we think it’s going to be just to tall by 2 inches or so to transport in our transit connect LWB . May be able to let the tyres down a bit to allow 🤣 then re pump!

Options are ramps for a transit tipper mark 8. Is there any recommendations for ramps that can take the almost 650kg limit? Folding ramps or normal. Appreciate any advice. Photos or videos of loading can help for ideas. Thanks

limited space unfortunately no room for trailer!

Edit - you don’t need to take the tailgate off every time, that was just when I was fitting them.

The ramps come with an HSS drill bit and 2 keeper pins for the bed.

Would differently think of getting trailer as how else are you going to move it away from  site if loading timber on to transit without double trip.

Yes we plan on possibly doing a tip run and then return to collect as most of our work is very local! We are in the process of getting a possible second tipper anyway, but it’s temp for now. We have a transit connect LWB but it’s 3 inches to tall unfortunately but I’m going to see if I can wiggle it in!

Good point Paul, but my plant trailer has cobwebs on it since I got the ramps.

Means I can get the chipper and loader on site in one hit.

The time it saves there is always time to tip off and come back.

Like JTH I have the luxury of usually working locally.

Agree with mark, nice set of 10’ ramps for loading into your tipper.

10’ will sit nicely in the bed once loaded and are handy for bridging steps etc once on site. I wouldn’t go folding.

Make sure you have some pins or similar locking the ramps to the truck body when loading! Don’t stand on the machine when loading, go up forwards standing behind it.
