Not me Steve.

It's only humans I don't like.

Mainly ones that leave dogshit lying about.

And flytippers.

And people who leave their Maccy D crap in the car park when there's a bin 6' away.

And road cyclists, they're bastards.

I need a drink.

We can't get those metal detectors anymore and now and then I'll have a scan about for another option but have yet to find anything that works well yet. You need something that is calibrated for wood and that is not too big and cumbersome.

Get a second hand Tesoro or C scope. They needn't be that expensive and ok, we're not looking for buried treasure on here but there's no point in buying cr*p as it's money down the pan, they probably won't work. Plus if you come across any friendly landowners, its a buzz if you can get on plough soil if you get a spare hour- people have come across stuff worth fortunes over the last few decades.

Just realised that they apparently have to be calibrated for wood??Maybe no good then

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
