Why would that be then? (If you can be bothered to explain in laymen's terms). Clearing cashed images and files didn't work, clearing cookies and site data did.

Try and find yourself a new phone deal where the ear buds get thrown in for free. The ones that came in the package when I bought my Pixel 6 phone a couple years back are great. (Worth £100 apparently, must be a loss leader for them).

I’m not sure to be honest; the change we made last night was quite major though and required rebuilding everything in the background, I guess something got stuck in limbo.
