Mrtree where and when were you cycling in india? I spent 4 months riding round the southern tip and then up into Nepal for trekking.

 

That was last Feb. Me and a mate rode from Goa to Chennai; it was bloody marvellous.

 

Did you ride up to Nepal - that's a freakin' long way!

me mate cutting his dreads off on sunday ...managed to raise £700 for children in need in the process ,he was nearly crying though

 

I still wish i never cut mine off and that was 13 years ago. At least he did it for charity as opposed to death threats from the then mrs

did mine around then as well pete,its amazing how attached you become to them and you get your favourites as well!....had to cut mine becouse they looked so manky full of sawdust and too hot in summer..the final straw was getting one caught in a prussik that night they got they got attacked by clippers... still kept them in a shoe box for years though...oh dear!
