Henchman - Fully adjustable vs Pro

Hi

I'm looking to buy another tripod ladder. A few weeks ago I ordered a 16ft Henchman Pro, great ladder. For the usual hedge trimming and tree pruning I want to get a shorter one, most likely a 10ft or second choice 8ft fully adjustible.

Now I'm investigating the difference between the Henchman fully adjustible 10ft (black front leg) and the PRO 10ft (red front leg).

Difference as far as I can see is the missing mechanism to fix the leg to the ladder and only one platform on the less expensive one.

Henchman claims the PRO is a more ridgid ladder compared to the standard fully adjustible one. Can't believe it really as they are specified the same weight and I don't think they use different aluminum profiles with reduced wall thickness.

Has any one both versions and can compare them?

We recently replaced an older non-pro 12ft version with a pro version. The old one was much lighter and wore out. The new one is beefier, and should therefore last longer. I don't know about beef levels on the new non-pro version.

I think I will order the Pro one. Another option would be a 10ft Hasegawa with only one adjustable leg. Price difference is 500€ for the Hasegaea vs. 800€ for the Henchman Pro.

How often do you use all adjustible legs on the 8 or 10 ft tripod ladders?

I have a pro 3m one. It was very expensive but it's great. 3 adjustable legs means you can put one on a retaining wall and on a unlevel ground surface and get bang on level.

Use some non adjustable tripods. Once you have the strength and adjusbiility of the henchman you won't go back
