Any classic cars in the shed?

Nothing in my shed unfortunately, the last car was a fiat x19,. Brilliant little car, never really got round to restoring it, the engine went bang and they were rust buckets so it got scrapped. :(

 

They are cool little cars, you have to be keen if your going to take on rust.

Here’s another XK120 owned by my other Brother in law.

Not quite as nice, note the missing rear wheel covers, known as ‘spats’

The were removed in the 60s or so when that closed look was considered old fashioned, so presumably got put somewhere in the back of a garage and then lost.

To be honest I think they look better without the spats . They race them at Goodwwod in the revival .

I don’t think Ford have ever made a production 5lt v8 rear wheel drive.

 

They made a few orange ones.  Not with that engine though to my knowledge.
