I can't remember whether I have or not but I feel quite sure about it. I do recall having a try of something at Gustharts a while ago. Maybe it was a 300.

Were they out not this last APF but the one before?

The 300 is a fairly powerful saw TBH, I have only had a bit of a demo with one and I haven't ran one next to a 261 or 550 but they cant be that far off in terms of power. They were available to buy in 2023 IIRC. I've seen the promotion videos but it would be interesting to see a real world comparison.

Someone in here must have a 300 and a pro 50cc saw that they can do a quick vid of them in use.

Powerful it may be but it won't have the duty cycle. The battery and/or motor will overheat going flat out for any period of time. Whereas you could plumb a 261 to a jerry can of mix and it would sing until it ran dry.

I agree with you on that. Battery tech needs a major advance before it will replace petrol machines. They do have their place though, hedge trimmers seems to be top of the list from customer feedback. Although the top handle battery saws are also getting good feedback.

Its going to be quite awhile before you can replace a 084 with a battery machine :)

A   quality e- cargo bike the front load box ones with a decent payload  with  battery are around  £5000 plus?

They look very good if very expensive quite an investment....

I like this e trailer concept that can go on  regular bike  or ebike  not cheap either... but for the payload cheap in comparison

Probably not good.....

I would advise don't get any  battery saw atm get a 550xp to start.

Unless you have the budget for then get both a 550xp and say the MSA220 or husky eqivalent but if not just start with the petrol....

For other tools yes get battery just not for the 1 saw to do it all to start with...

Have you seen Odd job alfie - an  idea for the brash transport - fill a tramplone, but think you'dd need legs like a track cycliust to get going if it was full
