New phone time, s24 or pixel pro 9

It's contract renewal time and I'm just wondering what people's opinions of the S24 ultra and the pixel 9 pro XL are.

Size and spec are very similar, price wise there isn't much in it so I'm not too fussed either way, which makes it more difficult to decide.

Pixel 8a if it was me, I like a phone you can actually put in your pocket without it feeling like a laptop.

 

Plus SIM only every day of the week, okay you take the hit but £16 a month or whatever the ridiculous EE plan is 🙂

I know what you mean about the size but I need the bigger screen or it's reading glasses all the time for me.

Haha, I know the getting old feeling!.

 

I'd probably go pixel, never really liked the Samsung phones as the OS is a bit modified and feels a bit clunky compared to the standard android OS.

Ive had a few Samsung's over the years i think the last one was a s20. Dunno, still not sure.

 

Is everyone else still using Nokias or something!

Yup - my next one will probably be the 110 !

 

(£20 for the phone, if I am out and about I am not interested in internets, at home I have a more powerful computer to do all that, it's all I need... and I can trash it weekly at that cost)

Was on Nokia up to the 8 I had, was a nice phone. Currently on Ulefone - cheap and tough, can drop it out of a tree without breaking, bit slow and camera not great. Wouldn't be big enough for you.
