It's a bit bittersweet stubby, she hasn't been herself lately and it was a relief to see her relax into her mum's lap, no more problems, but the hardest decision to make.

Hard decision but the right one, I feel for you too.

Had to do the same with the last of my Border Terriers a couple of months back, he was two days short of 15 years, the hardest choice but you owe it to them to do the right thing.
The house still seems pretty empty, even with the kids, so we are picking up this little rascal from a rescue centre in a couple of weeks.
I’ll introduce her to the pack in due course.

Proper snow. None of that slushy wet crap we usually get!

Beagle was very unsure about it at first, but he embraced it after a few minutes. A great mid morning ramble was had by all.

That’s a lovely little pack you have there. Who’s in charge?

Sailor’s little excited face when he realised where we were going this morning (beating - five hours of being encouraged to chase things).

I used to go with my spaniel and there was a bloke with a collie . She was absolutely brilliant . Would put a bird up and stop dead until he told her to get on where as my spaniel was sometimes in danger of creating a huge flush that you did not want . Fond memories I have of beating on West Dean Estate .
