Bastard chewed the fix off overnight. Take two with the strips. Did a slightly neater job this time. The secret is doing one end and letting it dry so you can get good tension pulling the wound together.

I'm quite enjoying this. Not in a cvnnty Munchausen by proxy kind of way but like when you do a good job of fixing anything yourself. A mate bitched at me for not calling an ambulance, rushing to the vets etc. I'm an irresponsbible bastard not laying on professional care etc. He's a competitively frivolous consumer. Doesn't fix anything himself. Reaches for an external solution (usually expensive) for just about any problem. I got fed up talking to him about it but in the fullness of time I'll point out that perhaps taking on a dog with no ability to fix it yourself if vets aren't available is actually the act of the irresponsible.

The thick bastard is now in his bed licking at the bandage he pulled off last night as opposed to the new one on his foot. I'll remember that the next time I credit him for being intelligent.
