In the event of a claim daahcam footage is the first thing that is asked for. I got reversed into by a uber eats delivery driver who caved in the whole rear quarter. He claimed he didn't see a black car parked on the corner with it's lights on. Either way do you have dash cam was the first thing asked. Other guy said it want him...long and short for it 2 months with no car...hours on the phone and emails. For it finally to go through as a non fault claim.

They were very keen on having multiple camera angles. So front/rear. I know some people have 2 fronts now. As for suggestions...next base are as good as any.

Don't get this at all, I'd be aggrieved.

Mirror, signal, manoeuvre.

To my mind if you pull across a lane into a moving vehicle because you've signal, manoeuvred and have no idea what's around your vehicle then you're at fault.

Yes I am aggrieved but the other driver claimed he was indicating right, had not reversed prior to turning and my wife passed him without indication. His word against her's despite overtaking on a residential road is a bit strange, especially by a little old lady.

The thing is insurers are just glorified bookies and fairness is not part of their remit. False insurance claims put up all our premiums but fighting them in court is too expensive, hence knock for knock.
