Homemade Jerky

I thought that its about time I gave this a try but I would appreciate any input on marinades and techniques.

I cheated a bit by using some pre-packaged thin cut steak that I cut into strips. I am trying 3 different flavours. 1 chilli marmite , 2 dark soy sauce and brown sugar and 3 fresh chilli and sriracha sauce.

Im planning on leaving it the fridge over night, dry them all off with some kitchen towel and then bung it into  the air fryer for 3 hours.

Pics of the finished product tomorrow, hopefully.

I once stayed with an Aussie mate in Oxford before a job somewhere down there. 07:00 and I'm needing to get out of the door. He decides this is the ideal time to continue the conversation from twelve hours previous about the nuances of yeast spreads from both hemispheres. Six or seven varieties out of the cupboard. Van keys in my hand, looking at my watch. **************** sake, Josh.

Its the same thing isn't? bovril, marmite, tastes the same to me :)

The marmite is something thats been stewing in the back of the cupboard since the turn of the 1800's, I had to put it to some use!

Bovril is marmite made from cows, whereas marmite is yeast that's eaten itself, a byproduct of brewing beer.
