It’s not gibbering Mark it’s a valid question as was the UK or Human race one, we are not a big contributor to global emissions you know !!
You are saying how wonderful renewables is and how shite fossil fuels are etc etc I asked you a genuine question about an EV alternative to what I have now. You being a vocal proponent of electricity I thought you’d be up in such mstters. Regarding all this cheap renewables electricity that’s flowing around can you or your train riding office worker wingman “ SP” explain why the UK has the most expensive industrial electricity in the world 🤷‍♂️it should be not be a difficult one.

When did you ask me about an electric truck? In fact, why would you ask me about that? I know a little bit about trees, ask me about them instead.

You might need to pad out that little explanation.

You're a bright lad, I'm sure you can work it out for yourself.

I’ll give you an exclusive offer here SP. Before that you do realise that many on here run crew cab 4x4 pick ups for work ( Even Peds swapped out his wanky Passat estate for one) and like me are not shy at putting pics up to prove it “ you could too if you wish” 🤔. Anyway I know you must hate sitting on that train every day heading to the office and sitting fantasising about people’s earnings or whatever it is you are doing or whoever it is you are working for🤔but I might be in a position to offer you an escape, a chance to stand alone from the tedium and a chance to post up something other than the political shite. You fancy a very tidy Barely used Trakmet TTP 600 wide head mobile sawmill, 93hrs 60KVA generator and tow truck/generator carrier set up, imagine SP you could be your own boss, go self employed, become vat registered, Get your HGV1, driver competency, o license sort out all your liability insurances, make sure you have the jobs coming in,sort out a private pension if you are lucky enough,do all your own paperwork and maintenance, bang in some 18hr days getting sorted for jobs etc etc. Imagine how liberated you’d feel and how good it would be to see your hard earned tax spent on illegal immigration net zero and other madness 👍👍

Chance of a lifetime SP, you should PM me and I can answer any questions you might have 👍👍

Ball park £60k incase you were wondering 👍👍

Well, be a good lad and maybe listen to those that know when we say the obsession with green energy will not end well or result in cheaper bills.

As I've said frequency is the problem of your DC renewables, in that you can't fake it without considerable network backup to keep the system stable as a DC system can never form a nice waveform without it looking like a staircase.

But, but, but you can build a massive flywheel.

Yeah, you can but why guild a lilly when a nuclear power station costs how much Vs a wind farm.

Why not embrace the challenge?

I think the first one looks lousy, but both trucks tick all your boxes.

Why not quit chopping down trees for a living then to save the planet ?.

It's not a case of embracing the challenge, it's a case of realism that you just keep choosing to double down and just demand more!.

There is no magic solutions to converting DC to AC as you still have to chop up DC to make it AC, new technology will never make it a true wave form.

I see you missed the point of the earlier conversation:

"I think Mark J was asking you your views and opinions on the piece he added above about electricity pricing - think you just ignored him, so I'll ask, do you have any views why your favoured fossil fuels will be cheaper than renewables (I do take this is the stance you are taking here?)"
