PL and EL reccomendations

Tediously time for renewal. Currently with trust and have been with tree surgeon and forestry insurance, pretty annoyed with the info they require about your business, like wanting the name and address of loler  or questions about keeping ppe registers of all labour only sub contractors.

Anyway, be interested to hear If anyone has an reccomendation or surprising suggestions.

I just took the honest approach and answered no to most of those questions, I don't have all those records and procedures. Was able to provide details of last loler so gave that.

Only thing they queried was that I said I didn't do written risk assessments, they said not every hedge and trim but can we change that answer to yes. Not a bad idea to do some RA with subbies anyway so I thought fair enough, that's where it stands.

Joking.

As Dan says, just be honest.

Pretty sure they’ll check if you make a claim.

Cameron at Trust is the man to talk to.

He understood my needs as pretty much a one man band who uses freelancers.

We had a few differences of opinion, but he sorted them.

Worth calling him direct Bill.

He seemed to understand that most of my jobs weren’t crane dismantles over Ferrari garages.

I also had a few differences of opinion with him and would not recommend Trust to my worst enemy.
