Nothing rash!

Speak to some property developers, this should set you up till they carry you out the door.

Choose wisely.

I’m with your way of thinking all the way, I gave £15k for the plot and another £10k for the ‘shed’, it’s falling down but there is water and electric there, it’s cost me around £50k to get to this stage. £300k bid now it’s passed. It, imo will never get full planning for houses, but it’s worth good money to the right people. Keep it, or move it on?…

Eggs,

Some advice I was given and has always worked for me: Only sell a good investment if you can use the money to buy a better one.

Good advice, the chances of me finding another plot like this one are slim and none. I’m going to keep it for now, although East Anglia is where I feel most settled.

Way to go Eggs👏

Much appreciated, the biggest victory is getting the residential side of things sorted, and I do feel slightly smug, I was told by stacks of folk I wouldn’t get it passed again.

Exactly, and even slimmer to be able to afford one too

(max 2% interest rate in the bank, property prices at 7%... losing money if the cash sits in the bank... waiting....)
