850 quid? Jesus. Is there good money in spraying? That seems like a rip off if not, my small trees was a weeks course at like 950 2 years ago. Even that was steep for what it was.

Yes there is money in spraying, a couple of yrs ago I was turning over 25-27 K for about 40 days work, chemical costs 2K, not bad money.

Single handedly and spraying with a knapsack or were you making money off of running your own squad?

Single handed with knapsack and up to 2m boom. some sites size of a garage some 1 hectare. 3 prices small medium and large sites, the more you spray in a day the more you get paid. only downside is payment 60 days from submitting invoice, but its been that way for last 10 yrs that I have done it.

Sounds pretty decent though.

What is it that they are usually killing off? Regen trees or weeds around small/new plantations?
