John Prescot stands to mind, a quick hook sorted any protests against him, not sure prison time is needed.

I don't think farage hitting a uneducated indoctrinated child is going to help.

Prison would be a better deterrent, maybe it's an either or option ?.

Anyone that throws anything at a politician of any hue, needs locking up for 6 months, preferably in solitary.

All politicians should have 2 hours in a pillory towards the end of each election cycle to allow the public the opportunity to gauge how successful they've been at delivering their promises.

I'm also a believer that if you don't vote, you're automatically banned from having any opinions or voice to criticise any politician or party.

So do you vote ?

I don't live in your country buddy.

Edit: anyway, that's bollocks. You aren't allowed to share any opinions on anything outside your small corner of the UK. Best not share any of your thoughts on the current debacle stateside. It's not allowed!

I vote every time, no point in complaining else.

Hence the you vote, you can criticise.

Strangely the Irishman @peds, didn't actually say if he votes in his elections.

Those saying we can effectively tar and feather a politician have zero understanding of politics and should maybe live in a country where a despot tells people what to think and do, as they're usually the countries throwing veg and shoes at people.

I know it's hard for you to imagine, but Hitler was actually elected.
