This is a long shot, but if you don’t ask you don’t get..

I am first dibs to buy a used hydraulic winch for my Avant.

Now I have a mate coming over on the ferry Friday morning for a visit next weekend, he’s happy to bring it over but I have to get it to Barns Green by Thursday afternoon.

Its with a guy in Rugby Warwickshire about à 5 hour round trip.

Courrier/transport companies présent issues because of unloading and timings.

I thought maybe someone (either near the winch in Warwickshire, or near my mate in Billingshurst) with a pick up or van has a day free early next week for a jolly.

I reckon £250 should cover it.

Hit me up as the kids say.

Thanks John, kind offer, the job I’ve got it lined up for is a bit urgent, leaning 40/50 acacia (spindly, nothing major) over some outbuildings.

So I was hoping to rattle it out before then.

Bank holiday here Monday, so I’ll shut my work brain off, open a bottle, and approach the problem Monday morning.
