Any idea on the age of this saw and how you’d be able to tell.

Just picked up this saw for £60 and it runs good but needs a good clean.
I’ve heard it’s hard to get parts for it due to its age. Any idea how old it is?

Cheers, James.

Just looked at L&S Engineers - looks like they have about half the parts new in stock so reasonable availability. All the consumables.

£60 was a good buy if it runs well I think. Good clean, take off the starter and clean in there and it will look decent

Maybe late 80's but definitely early 90-mid 90's

Should be able to get parts no issue

Ok that’s great thank you. Never used a pre 2000 saw 👌
