Google maps on my phone, Waze etc etc thinks I am in Edinburgh. I'm actually on the train near Birmingham! What's that all about?! I'm not on WiFi either.

Bizarre.

Done all the usuals - restart phone etc etc.

Any ideas, thanks.

I can't really help Whoppa, but your comment about restarting phone reminds me of a problem I had, I restarted with no difference and a phone techy friend said no, turn off and on again, it's different from restart so maybe try that...

In Google you press the centre icon on the right side of the screen.

It does have a habit of staying wherever you were looking at last until you do it or search for a new destination and it gets your real time location to calculate.

I loaded it up last month and it still thought I was in the suburbs of Stockholm, took a few seconds for my sleep deprived mind to click centre map.

I have checked my Google timeline before now to think, I ain't been anywhere near there!!! As said turn phone right off, leave for two minutes then start up!
