Inbetween cameras John. My Sony DSC50 is caput.

This is the little casio I had at Broadway, seems Okish for bright light & landscape but everything is greeny/blue on close up.

Gonna get something new in a month or so.

Suggestions for 200-250?

.

Leave it with me; I’ll start the research! Shame you cant persuade the wife so you can splash out big-time on a camera, you obviously get a lot of enjoyment out of it; as I do. :001_smile:

I'm researching cameras at the mo david.

I'm gonna chuck a bit of money at it tho.

Looking at - Panasonic Lumix LX3 (very good for macro) but about 350 squids,

Canon G10 G11 - more pricey, Canon S90

These are between a pocket type thing and SLR - hybrids with small size but SLR functions.

I'll keep you informed of how my finding out goes and bear you in mind as I do more looking into it

Cheers fellas some good looking options.

I'm in a dilema as I've got a budget for a work camera, but it aint really gonna rock the photographic world.

But would really like a decent bit of hardwear, but as my last camera only lasted a year due to work stress, sawdust, big hairy arbs sitting on it etc.....

I don't really know which way to go with this.

Get a mid range for work, and no decent one for home.

Or continue with crappy little olympus at work (3 years old) and get a mid range for home.

Or not use the work budget & get a decent one myself that I can use at work & Home. :confused1:

John very good idea for a sub-forum.

If Steve doesnt catch it here, I'll Pm him. :thumbup1:
