HELP1 Nightmare problems with Jensen Chipper

Just wondered if anyone has any ideas !  Over the last couple of years I continue to have the same problem with the 6inch chipper.  Worst thing about it is that it's intermittent :(  One day it's fine and then 2 days later it throws out smoke and indicates a fuel problems.  I've probably spent thousands going backwards and forwards to have it fixed.  I think almost every part has been replaced and still the problem keeps happening.  It's got to the stage that neither I or the Chipper Services can sort it out and it's costing me a small fortune.  I always keep it full of fuel to eliminate any posiblity of water in the fuel.  Anyone got any thoughts on this one

I assume it is diesel if you say it is Kubota. I have a Jensen A540 turntable model with Kubota power unit. I find that the inline fuel filter is prone to clogging up quite easily, despite me only using clean fuel and keeping the tank topped up. It gives symptoms of power loss on heavier load, some smoke (don't really see why). Changing the inline filter at the first sign of these symptoms cures it. Also wonder if you could have a rubber fuel hose somewhere that is beginning to collapse internally?
