Had to chop off one end of my tachyon to thread it through my zig zag as the splice end wouldn’t go through. All fine but recently nicked my rope so had to cut off the other splice end. Thought OK I’ll use a knot but hate it. Is there a rope with splice on both ends that will go through a zig zag. Hope I’ve explained properly

Courant Kalimba. Just order it with two splices instead of the one. It's a brilliant rope. 11.9 mm 24 strand, far less stretch than Tachyon. I use it on the Zig Zag all the time

Why do you want a splice both ends?

It's pretty handy if you use a zz/chicane and swap between SRT and DDRT regularly.

It's also handy if you use the tail of your line as a second system

I do the bisexual zigzag/chicane thing already with one splice.

I had a rope years ago with splices both ends and it ended up a bunchy mess in the middle because you couldn’t milk it properly.

Modern ropes may be much better, of course.

Splices like that on the Petzl Flow will pass through the zigzag.

The petzl flow is just a rebranded Cousin Black Widow which is my favorite ddrt set up so far. Honeys did a good job of milking the cover before the second splice so had zero issues there.

It's also helps spread out rope wear so you're not constantly using the same end
