Have you got, is it comfy?

I used to have a pair of Hoggs leather lace up boots. They were good boots, but hell of a weight to them.

There ok I'm not a big fan of rigger boots so don't generally wear them all day,but there useful when I'm working on the pressure treatment plant at work ankle deep in treatment or when it's really wet lol

Sorry to swim against the tide, but unless it's boiling hot, or I have a need for fleetness of foot, my riggers are first choice. Many years ago, I bought some waterproof ones from Screwfix. I just checked, thought they were Wolf, and that's what there's a picture of on the side. First time I wore them, I crippled myself!! Had to wear them in slowly, but now I've done that, they're nicer than wellies or waders. Don't think they're available any more, a Google search shows an American company.

They look like they might be alright.

My current pair are Hoggs, standard leather riggers. Nice, comfy boots. Just not waterproof, as they claim to be.

I'm taking a punt, just ordered a pair, £30 delivered off ebay, size 10 only.

Might make good garden/yard slippers
