Morning all.

Got some lovely eggs for breakfast. Looking after my mate's chooks again for a couple of weeks, got a dozen eggs on my first visit but they were quite unimpressed by the offerings I took them, need to up my treat game if I'm going to keep them happy!

Have a good one folks.

Morning all,

Dry at present but rain possible/likely. Maybe get the lawns mowed/maybe roll the top field before it gets too firm. Bottom field is already too dry for roller to make any difference. Hard to believe after all the rain, but true.

The ground has dried up surprisingly quickly here too, considering how long it's been wet. Some bits that were just slurry have gone solid and cracked like the height of a heatwave.

Morning.

My day 5 so it's Friday.

Onsite till 2. Then, I've got a winters load of firewood to deliver to my little sis in Somerset later.

Just need to survive today. Nice now but rain coming in... Bah!

Have a great one.
