Morning all,

 

Reducing awkward hawthorn hedge today, using the mewp. Checked it for birds yesterday - zilch. Why climb a big gnarly hawthorn when you can use mewp and polesaw? I'll still be digging bits out of my hands this evening though.

Nothing like climbing the thorn to find  parts of the body that responds to acupuncture.

Roadside thorn is particularly dirty I've found . We get rambling rose that grows in the hedges here with it and it's brutal
