Miserable weather here, head-cold in retreat, try and nail some paperwork down, then fiddlefart around in the workshop.

Then the North London derby on the telly.

Standard stuff.

Morning all.

Warmed up a bit here but the rain's battering the window now, sounds miserable.

Given the weather and it's my last day of mini holiday I imagine I'll just go to the cafe, again.

If I died today I expect a little brass plaque on the table in the corner!

Been going to "the cafe" since I got my first job when leaving school, something like 35yrs. It was good, cheap food and the owners granddaughter worked the counter. She was fit, an unobtainable older woman (probably only 20!) with a little Audi, I knew she'd have no interest in me, a spotty kid on my step through Honda Melody sporting a convenient shopping basket on the front.

All this time later and she's running the show, still the same family, still good food, still feels like home, she's still fit and i even know her name now. I'm playing the long game.

Sorry for the fried breakfast nostalgia, have a good one folks!

We've not heard from Bob for a bit, did he say he was going on holiday?

Love the cafe unrequited love story!

Not sure what I've got on but would like to watch the rugby! Bonus daughter doing a roast for 8 people later which is usually a good affair!

Bauble, Land, Squeak.
