Morning all,

Saw physio yesterday and he was really please with progress. I was amazed to say the least when he said I can gradually start work, even a bit of gentle climbing. Need to avoid putting significant rotation through new knee, long term. I shall take it very carefully and it will be a while before doing a full day. Best early Christmas present I could ask for. Those painful exercises are worthwhile.

Happy Christmas all.

Great news, a good Christmas present indeed. Remind me, are you having a second knee done at all? They mostly come in pairs. Mostly.

An unscheduled and incredibly welcome day off today. Nice gentle jobs for me today like mucking out the henhouse, removing a hung up alder by the kids' treehouse from Storm Darragh, and buying a bottle of whiskey.

Nothing on the horizon for the other knee, though I agree about mostly in pairs. Mine was due to an old fashioned cartilage removal aged 13, before arthroscopy existed. This cured the problem of a torn cartilage with a congenital cyst in it, but the price being premature osteoarthritis that started years ago.

Hopefully to a paying customer, rather than a giveaway? I manage to sell all of my deciduous chip, even it it waits in the yard for months.

Yes, I don’t sell it as a rule, but this landscaper has a big maintenance/construction project so is happy to pay for it delivered.
