Why are Horticultural professionals SO devalued?

Its a can of worms really, and I didnt start this topic to be divisive-but thats good fun too 😁

My main point is we should ALL be paid/valued more given the weather conditions we all tend to have to endure+the skills+the dangerous conditions/ignorant home owners (talk about p.r.skills 🙄),not to mention the HUGE investments needed in plant/m.c's needed to carry out  work/safely and efficiently too.

My 78 year old granny does her own mowing, plants up her own flower borders, plant a few short rows of spuds and other veg crops. Trims a small privet hedge with hand clippers🤔. Does that make her a Horticulturalist🤔. When I said did she want a shot at being an arborist she told me to “F off”! Ya grandad can though?

If she could find the time to do that for a few dozen or hundred or a thousand odd other people, she could probably earn a bit of cash.

Does being able to feed yourself 3 meals a day make you a chef?

Anyway, what am I doing stuck here in the gents of this motorway service station giving blowies for a fiver a go, when the guy in the cubicle next door is giving them away for free, and he's enjoying it more? It's impossible.
