So I’ve been having some issues with my Husqvarna T540ixp, sounds more like a petrol saw now!

As you can hear in the video, it definitely doesn’t sound right, haven’t had to time to strip it down yet, just wondered if anyone has ever experienced the same issue or know what could be at fault?

Could be the bearings on the motor maybe?

Replaced the motor bearings on cordless makita trimmer  cost was  less than 5 quid as they were a common standard size.

It sounds like the fan on the end of the motor touching the outer cover or the conduit holding the motor wiring, could be a twig in there

The times I have had petrol saws with a super fast idle in and have found a bit of twig has entered the carb adjustment holes sticking the throttle open.

Perhaps nothing has changed with the latest generation of saws!
